    U2 is a three man band?

    Well now, I guess this would call for the definition of three-piece
    band. Can U2, Led Zep, Who, VH, etc. be considered a 3-piece band?
    They only have three instumentalists, right? Or wrong?

    The Who have used an "anonymous" keyboard player extraordinaire
    for years. He's so anonymous that they often don't even intro-
    duce him at concerts, I can't remember his name, but he's from
    good ol' Texas (I think). Obviously, the only American in the
    band. So, the Who ain't three piece even if you don't count Daltry.

    How about BUDGIE from the UK?
    I know they're a 3-Man-Band....but I don't know who they are.
    The only albums I've heard from them are POWER SUPPLY and NIGHTFLIGHT.
    And my favourite of the two has got to be POWER SUPPLY. It's real
    HEAVY AND LOUD!

	- As far as I know:
		* Ken Owen (Drums/Vocals)
		* Bill Steel (Guitar/Vocals)
		* Jeff Walker (Bass/Vocals)
	Maybe they got extra member now. But last time
	I saw them with Pestilence and Death, there were
	only 3 members. Right now I don't really know
	what's up with them. Because in serveral months

    Yeah, that kind of cracked me up too. They even had it starred out the
    same way on their t-shirts...

> I felt bad because of their lack of equipment.

    Yeah, they were definately low budget. I also felt bad for 'em in that
    respect. However, even though I had a *lot* more, much nicer equipment
    in my front bedroom then both guitar players in that band combined,
    THEY were up there *playing* and *I* was carrying sh*t around. What

>     Poor musicians are better?
>    Your band wasn't ready?
>    They got lucky........

    I wasn't complaining, just saying that they were giving it a shot and
    got a gig, even with the inexpensive/small equipment they were using.
    Seemed like they enjoyed it. That's what playing's all about, getting
    out there and doing it and having a good time!

    I wouldn't comment on whether they'ed play here again, Cara Lee told me
    that she was pretty pleased with 'em. Apparently she thought they were
    going to be much worse then they were.

    Honestly, I didn't think they were all that bad. My only negative
    comments were that I thought a lot of their songs sounded alike and
    that their stage banter was kind of unprofessional.

    Ok, ok, it was very unprofessional, but we've discussed this before and
    I didn't think what they said was any worse then some of the "f*ck"
    things some other bands do. At least they seemed to be acting like
    themselves...

    However it did seem inappropriate for that show. Seemed like the other
    bands kept it pretty clean on stage. At least from what I heard.
