| TO answer my own dog-sled question - yes, its worth it. We did a
full day of dog-sledding - just two of us and the guide - the weather
was clear for most of the trip - the scenery is different, and the hot
springs were great. Didn't see any wildlife though. THere were some
snowmobilers on the trail, but not a problem - had to pull over about
4 or 5 times the whole day to let them pass. They were at the hot
springs too, but it wasn't "crowded" by any means. It was a great day.
I'd have been disappointed if we only did a couple hours (though I'm
sure if the weather was snowy and windy all day I'd feel different).
And, the skiing at Jackson Hole was great too - snowed every day last
week - never skiied powder before - it was fun, and hard work. Its
their snowiest winter ever, and no sign of spring yet.
