Structural specifications? Is that what it is made of, and so on?
If so, I don't have a clue, except for an ebony fretboard, and
spruce top, what I think any quality classic guitar has. Besides
that, it looks nice, and plays *wonderful*! Real classic guitars
(I mean the ones with nylon strings and a flat fretboard!) seem
to be rather conservatively built - they all have the same shape,
nearly the same size, etc.
My friend, who runs the music store, told me there's up to one
year of delivery for this beauty, and he has ordered one (the
one I tried was already sold) - and I've told him to put it aside
for me! ...counting $$$s...
Still, I wonder if any of you know the list price in the US?

Well I was not right about the spruce top. Here is what the bro-
chure tells about the CY140:
"The CY140 is made for the concert artist who needs volume, ex-
ceptional tone quality and projection required for auditorium
performance. It is the finest classic made by Kazuo Yairi. Be-
cause of the extreme care exercised in the construction of this
instrument, the production is limited. Close grained Canadian
cedar is used for the top and rich looking jacaranda is used for
the sides and back of the instrument. Both of these woods are
chosen for their beauty and their sound transmitting capabili-
ties. Honduran Mahogany is used to make the neck. Solid ebony is
utilized to construct the fingerboard and rosewood inlaid with
ivory is used to make the bridge. Solid bone is used for saddle
and nut."
I can't live without this guitar! ...counting $$$...

The Grand Concert Master IS an excellent classical
guitar. "Fretted Instruments" (THE most righteous guitar
store, if your into these kinds of things) located in
Amherst, Massachusetts has two of these. List price over
here is $1400. Play the game and you can take it home
for $1100. The value is only going to go up as Brazilian
rosewood becomes more and more limited.
As for the overall sound of this instrument: one word-
MAGIC. It gives an almost 3-dimensional quality that I've
heard only in some esteemed Ramirez models. Try it out and
I guarantee you'll want one.

re .5 (Kev): I already tried it! That's why I'm f*cking crazy about
this guitar! Now what are you saying about brazilian rosewood? In .3,
I wrote what the brochure said - no brazilian rosewood. Or is this
jacaranda wood the same as braz. rosew.??
