2503.0. "Bass Replacement Bridges" by SMURF::GALLO (I'd rather eat dirt....) Thu Apr 16 1992 09:59

I need some information on Leo Quan Badass bass bridges.

Specifically, are they direct replacement (I.e. no mods needed)
bridges or do they require some sort of customization to make it
fit? If some work *is* required, what would it be and could I
    do it myself?

Also what's a good price for a Badass bridge?

I have a Bad Ass II on my '69 P-Bass and it was a direct replacement.
Perfect fit and no extra holes either! ALOT better than original too!

    Go for it!

    Rock on,

I outfitted one of my basses with one too a few years back. it just
screws down onto the body. It's good and solid. I 've also put Schaller
bridges on basses that I've owned and I prefer them because of the
    adjustability for each string.

Make sure you get a Badass II (may be all they make now). I believe the
original Badass (I?) had a "foot" that extended into the body, so it
    required some routing...
