I've got the solo album, think it's on Roadrunner Records, and it is a
tad better than the usual Mike Varney fare. You must know about the
Yamaha Pacifica sponsorship deal? And he's also putting together a
proper band, I gather, at the moment - the vocalist/harmonica player
(yes, and he's a mean harp man) can be heard on the CD LA Blues
Authority.
