Friday May 10th at the Worcester Artist Group (WAG)
		38 Harlow Street Worcester

		ECM Recording Artist Steve Tibbetts
		    - a rare area appearance! -

Tibbetts is an exciting guitarist in an atmospheric jazz/rock/avante-garde
(pre-new age) vein similar to David Torn or Terje Rypdal. Tibbetts will be
accompanied by percussionist Marc Anderson. Tibbetts has 6 albums (available
in the US and Europe) under his own name.

Opening for Tibbetts will be a local group, The Alternate Quartet with
Jim Scarsdale on tenor/soprano saxophones, flute, wind synthesizer, Rick
Calcagni on bass, Ed Conley on drums and percussion and Paul Cummings on
guitar.

The show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $7.50 - available at the door.

Directions:

Take Rt 495 North to Rt 290 West. Follow signs for Worcester. Take the
Lincoln/Burncoat Street exit (exit #20). From the East, take a left at
the end of the exit ramp (from the West take a right) on to Lincoln Street.

About 3/4 of a mile, you'll notice Hanneman Hostpital on your left. Continue
on Lincoln until you come to the first traffic light. Take a right on to
Harlow Street. Follow Harlow to the bottom of the hill and you'll see a
large old warehouse with a "WAG" sign on the door (#38). There's parking
on Harlow Street and on New Street (just down on your right).

The concert will be held in the main performance hall at the top of the stairs.
