1684.0. "TAB Exercises" by NEEPS::IRVINE (Never underestimate, the power of human stupidity) Thu Feb 15 1990 14:17

I know this is probably a duplicate, but I could find a keyword
    on TAB.

Can anyone mail me or post here any exercises in TAB, solos, scales,
blues progressions, in TAB only. I used to read music at school,
but that was so long ago, I don't want to get involved in that
    particular learning process again ;^)

Anything really, my left hand has started to seize up lately and
I wanna get it back into action! I have extracted a lot of TAB
exercices so far, but I am always on the look out for more.

What I would like is Scale variations, you know, pentatonic, etc,
in all keys major and minor.

This way I can hope fully get the hands back to speed.

Don't you just love a smart person 8-)

TAB is short for TABLATURE (gawd my spelling gets worse)

In essence it is a scale giving each string and fret position for
each note, some thing like below would represent the chord C.

    e----------------------
    b---1------------------
    g----------------------
    d---2------------------
    a---3------------------
    e----------------------

Some one else I am sure will give a better explanation.
