1528.0. "Carvin Pro Bass II 400'n Co" by FERNEY::HUDELOT (DECBringue ...) Tue Oct 24 1989 08:12

I'm French, and as guitar/bass equipments are expensive here, I
decided to buy my equipment directly from the US. Therefore I
got my bass amp (yesterday) for half price!

It is a Carvin Pro Bass II 400. It includes many fonctionalities,
like bi-amp feature, noise gate, compressor, mid freq parametric
equalizer, 5 range freq equalizer, mudcutter, etc... All off these
enable you to find a great variety of bass sounds.

I use a Fender PB with it, but I think I'll probably try to get a
Carvin LB70. I still don't know what kind of 15" speaker to get.

That's why I'm already waiting for any kind of input, like settings
for my amp, Carvin bass guitars, speakers, weaknesses of my amp,
    Carvin enclosures, etc...

    So, who's first?

    Patrick.

Brian, I read them all, and you're right, they give me
part of the answer I need, especially the fact that the cab I'll
get depends on the kind of style I'm going to play. The problem is
that I'm a beginner and I still haven't chosen my proper style.
    Thank you anyway.

Anyone familiar with Carvin Pro Bass II 400?
