It would help if you could indicate the brand and model you are
    looking for.

MacDuff's sells Guild, Taylor, and usually has several used guitars
as well. I think he also carries a lower priced brand like Madeiras
(Guild's cheapers line) and I think he may also have some Washburns.

Daddy's Junky Music sells Guild, Takamine, Ovations, as well as
    some lower priced instruments.

Union Music sells Ovations, and Martin acoustics.

EU Wurliters sells Guild, Washburn, and also has a few Alvarez-Yairi's
plus something called a "Bentley" which I am unfamiliar with.

Kurlan's sells Takamine, Yamaha, Fender (yes Fender is back to making
acoustics) and a few inexpensive brands.

Mr. C's in downtown Marlboro has Guild, Ovations, Applause (cheaper
version of Ovations) and Gibson Neveau.

Check out all of these stores and get an idea of what you want
then shop price. You might also want to try mail order. Mandolin
Bros in Staten Island New York is an excellant mail order service
for acoustics and they have a newletter that is published periodically.

    Have fun.

1449.6Thanks.. I bought one.TFH::TORABITue Sep 19 1989 23:098
I finally bought my guitar. I bought it from Union Music at Worcester.
The guitar is DM-2 Sigma ( Martin's equivalent in Japan). I am very
happy with it.

Thanks you all for the advice and help.
