1023.0. "What are JBL 2205As?" by ROLL::BEFUMO (I chase the winds of a prism ship) Fri Dec 16 1988 16:01

    Anyone know anything about JBL 2205A "pro-line" speakers? I'm
    wondering if they're musical instrument speakers or hi-fi woofers,
    and what they're frequency range might be. (BTW, they're 15").
    Thanks.

    They are PA speakers. For guitar/bass use the JBL numbers are things
    like E120, E130, E140, etc.

    Still might be OK for bass guitar use if you don't need a lot of
    high end.

	Re- .0
	The 2205 is a low frequency 15" spkr designed specifically
	for their 4530 (1-15" scoop cab) and 4520 (2-15" scoop cab)
	series, but are efficient to about 2k and are supposed to
	be crossed over at 800Hz in these cabs.
1023.6That's what I needed to know!ROLL::BEFUMOI chase the winds of a prism shipMon Dec 19 1988 11:132
