This falls into the category of I know someone who knew someone who once knew a
Beatle, but here goes anyway.

I worked with a guy in London who was a good friend of Paul McCartney's son. He
was invited to a birthday party at his estate near Rye on the South Coast of
England. Apparently Paul layed on the entertainment, with an impromptu concert.
Not bad for a birthday treat.

I also knew a nurse who looked after Linda (this was a good number of years
ago), at Hastings Hospital I think it was. Apparently Linda was a bit tough with
Paul at the time.

An ex-girlfriend of mine had a motorbike accident in Liverpool. She was knocked
off it by a motorist. Although she wasn't badly hurt, she got legal help to sue
the motorist from a certain solicitor called Rex Makin. Rex Makin was a good
"friend" of Brian Epstein, and helped John with certain legal wrangles
concerning his divorce, he gets a mention or two in The Love You Make, which I
got in hard back, signed by the famous John Brown (who called to say you can
make it OK, you can get married in Gibraltar near Spain).
