    Is the maximum savailable RAM in the DEC 2000 300 still 256MB or is

Firstly, Jensen is completely end of life and no one seems to be doing any 
support for it (I left the jensen project years and years ago). So, 
basically no-one is going to change any of the data in whichever note has 
the supported options lists.

I don't think any bigger SIMMs will work anyway. Remember that the SROM that 
configures the memory was born in 1992 when everybody went ooooh-aaaah at 
the first batch of 16Mb SIMMs we got in the lab. There might not even be 
enough address lines from the CPU either.

Last time I looked a brand new Alphaserver with 256Mb of memory cost less 
than a 256Mb upgrade for Jensen and went much faster with the same or less 
memory.
