3933.0. "Vax Dir Util Needed!" by CSCOAC::KENDRIX_J () Tue Jul 17 1990 15:13

    Hello!

    This is a little off the subject of the amiga... but I'm trying to get
    my personal area here at work organized, Vax stuff in a directory,
    amiga stuff in another, so forth and so on... Well, the problem is
    that it is a ROYAL pain in the rear doing it by CLI. So, I was
    wondering if any of you had a directory utility for the Vax that you
    use for such matters. Something like Sid on the Amiga would be great.

    Thanks, and sorry for being off the subject.

    Hi,
    	The protection has now been changed...

    	There is also a DECUS program called SD (I think!!!) which has more
    function than Swing..Don't know where it is at the moment.

3933.5Question on SwingSNOC01::RODDYMon Jul 23 1990 22:239

    Hi,
    	Just a quick question on swing-
    	I tried setting up a directory file as suggested in the help
    	define swing_save sys$login:
    	but it doesn't seem to save the file.
    	Am I doing anything wrong here?
    	Thanks in advance,
    				Phil Roddy.
