3530.0. "1.3 Include Disk" by CGOFS::GIBB (John Gibb Western Geo Support) Mon Feb 26 1990 20:25

Hello all.

I was wondering if any one out there has the 1.3 includes disk.
I am playing around with a PD program called Diskdoctor in which
the sources were included. I wanted to modify this program but
had problems compiling it. After a number of hours of head scratching
I found the following in the Readme text supplied with the sources.

COMPILATION NOTES:

DiskChecker uses some structures that are new to the 1.3 header files. (The
structures have always existed; the header files have been reorganised to
make accessing them from C easier). It currently requires libraries/dos.h,
libraries/dosextens.h, and libraries/filehandler.h from the 1.3Includes disk.

I hope someone out there has this disk and could post these library files.

Thanks...

John..

Eh? Do you mean a PD program called Disksalv? The other, Diskdoctor,
comes standard on the Workbench disk and has no source available.

At any rate, your question implies that you don't have a very current
version of one of the popular C compilers, or else are trying to use
one of the two public domain compilers, PDC or Sozobon C. In the first
case, I'd strongly recommend spending the $75 or $100 needed to upgrade
to Version 5.0x of either Lattice or Manx C.

In the second case, I recommend you purchase the "Native Developer's
Update" disk from Commodore-Amiga Technical Support in West Chester,
Pennsylvania. This disk (maybe more than one) only costs about $20 and
will give you the stuff you need to work on _any_ Amiga C language
program without the guardians of this notesfile complaining about
    distributing copyrighted material.
