3139.0. "Looking for an Amiga in Reading" by GVA02::SLOAN (Och aye the noo!) Wed Nov 22 1989 07:19

Can anyone tell me where the best place in Reading (UK) is to buy an Amiga?
Are there any special deals available?

3139.1Not in Reading but...SHIPS::NEAL_DWed Nov 22 1989 11:376
    I dont know of any in Reading being advertised. I bought mine in
    May from Harwoods. See most good Amiga mags for details. They do
    their own 12 months warranty, will collect free from your home if
    repairs are needed, comes tested with plugs on and they do a
    terrific bundle + free and prompt delivery.

    You can try Computer Care South on Oxford Road. They have on site
    repair service, and if they cannot repair it there, they handle
    the transaction with Commodore UK. Special deals are not common,
    but as in most cases, you can bargain if you can find an Amiga in
    a another shop cheaper.
