2722.0. "Help for A1000 composite?" by SOJU::OPERATOR () Fri Jul 07 1989 23:06

    I have looked all over this conference and I can't find any
    information pertaining to the A1000's composite video output. I
    would like to improve the composite output at a minimal cost. I
    remember reading somewhere that there was a way to install a
    capacitor somewhere or cut a wire somewhere which would improve
    the composite output. I can't remember if I saw it here, or read
    it in a magazine.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Amazing Computing (Volume 2, number 7) had an extensive article by Oran
    Sands (Amiga video guru) regarding improving the A1000 composite
    output. The article is fairly technical in nature, and describes the
    use of vectorscopes to analyze the Amiga's video out.

    The bottom line is that the A1000 actually had a design defect that
    could (in most cases) be corrected by replacing a resistor.

    If you like, I'll copy the article and send it to you. E-mail me.
