	The software hut wants $165 for them.

		800-848-0079	for orders
		215-462-2268	for Tech support and info

	This is the place that was selling A2000s for $1095 last fall,
thats why I'm on their mailing list and its how I got my 'miga.

	They want $145 for the mac emulator, $199 for a mac drive
		(I know, you didn't ask - but someone else might be
							interested)

2595.2Any experience on the Emulator ??GLORY::SPATOULASGeorge Spatoulas @FACTue Jun 06 1989 13:4916
Has anybody purchased the Mac Emulator yet ???

I would be interested to find how they like it.

On of the guys here has a Mac and a tone of software so I have been
thinking....

I have the PC card and I am not using it that much (away of the software I
got from here and there ...)

I like my Amiga but I do like the options one has.

On question on the re:.1 do you need a MAC drive or can one use the Amiga
drive ??

You need a MAC drive somewhere along the line. If you have easy access to
a MAC, you can run a program on the MAC that copies the MAC software to three
disks that the AMAX/Amiga can read. On the AMAX you can then transfer the 3
disks back to one in a special format that AMAX understands. With this method,
you do not need the drive attached to the Amiga. If you want to use MAC
software directly, you need the MAC drive attached to AMAX. I suspect copy
protected software may not make the 1>3>1 transfer very well which would be
another reason for having the MAC drive on the AMAX.

No I don't have an AMAX. I'm just an Amiga junkie who reads about these things.

2595.4I have A-MAX MOSAIC::RIESFrank W. Ries Jr.Tue Jun 06 1989 21:126
I picked up A-MAX with ROMS last week from The Memory Location. I have not had
a chance to try it out yet though (I did play with it at TML however). A friend
with a MAC is comming over tonight with a MAC drive and some software so we will
be giving it a good test. I'll post the results here.

	I lost interest as soon as I got to the part that said it
didn't/couldn't/probably_never_would support any of the MIDI software
that runs on the mac.
