2117.2 | Seems good to me | CAM::ARENDT | Harry Arendt CAM:: | Fri Jan 13 1989 19:56 | 15 |
I have a miniscribe 3 1/2 20 meg drive. Don't remember the model number but will look it up. It fit inside my 2000 just fine, runs good ( I have my machine on the floor on it's side ). The support from miniscribe was excellent and hookup was a breeze. Miniscribe sent me a complete manual just because I asked for it. This is a good price I paid over 250 about a year ago. I don't know about the amiga 500 so I don't know how easy it is to hook up a hard drive however mine was easy. I never have a problem with the drive except that it makes a lot of noise on a warm boot. Harry Who_recomends_the_drive_but_wishes_he_had_bought_a_40_meg | |||||

You'll now need a power supply, box, and host interface and adapter! This will run about another $300 or so. If you're not the adventurous type who wants to put it together himself, I'd stay away from doing it myself! Although you do learn alot! (Thanks J.B.)
