2083.0. "PAULY"AMIGA":: to be swept clean ..." by MTWAIN::MACDONALD (WA1OMM 7.093/145.05/223.58 AX.25) Fri Jan 06 1989 13:34

    I will be tidying up PAULY"AMIGA":: this weekend. Mostly everything
    on it will be wiped and replaced with current versions of software
    I have found useful along with descriptive info about each. There
    will also be directories available for various categories of software.

     Since PAULY"AMIGA":: usually has a good collection of useful files
     and nice descriptions of their use, I hope someone can post them
     somewhere else too. I have not been able to copy from PAULY for
     more than six months. At first I thought it was the field test
     versions of VMS, but now I suspect it is a permanent incompatibility
     between the systems I have access to and PAULY. How about a
     subdirectory [.PAULY] on TAPE:: or NORSE::? Yeah, that's the ticket
     ... and a [.ACCIARDI] and a ...  But seriously, I'd like to
     have the latest VIRUSX, MACH, etc. when they come out & I can't
     get them from PAULY.

     I'm not saying that Paul has to copy the files. Someone
     out there must have a command procedure that could make it easy.

     Thanks for any help.

    Is pauly::amiga a conference that we can tap into or just do a network
    directory??? I have been looking for some good files. tell you
    what, if you can tell me how to arc them I can send Ghost pool
    demo as well as a Yahzee game.( I'll check to see that it is freely
    distributed. it is Shareware.)

     Somehow " -<  Aquatic Blood-Sucking Worms Anonymous  >-"
     sounds much worse. I don't know why. ;-}

     Thanks Pete. Actually, according to another note, the one about VIRUSX
     I think, the files are going to be more generally available
     in Paul's account on MTWAIN.

     Thanks to all.
