1949.0. "Amy on the air!" by WJG::GUINEAU () Mon Dec 05 1988 00:05

I was watching "Hunter" the other (last?) night. They were tracking down
some lead from a cassette tape left in the lovely Sgt. McCall's car.

It was a computerized voice. The department analysist said "It could
be from an Apple, an Amiga or an IBM" !!

I'm sitting here dealing with Sunday night T.V. by watching VH1 (Video
Hits 1) on Ch 28 (local Cable).

A real neat Amiga commercial just popped up! With graphics, video stuff
and good comments...

1949.1As seen in USA/TodayNSSG::SULLIVANSteven E. SullivanThu Dec 08 1988 16:1210
    In Yesterdays USA/Today (hotel left it at my door...) there was a
full page color ad for the Amiga 500. It was heavily oriented toward
game software.

    I wish in the same issue in the business section there had been a
matching ad for the A2000 as a business machine.

    At least they are advertizing!

1949.2It was DECTalk I thinkDPDMAI::ANDERSONASun Dec 11 1988 23:334
    I saw the same Hunter show sounded like DECTalk to me not Amy!
    Of course Dec wasn't mentioned as one of the possibilities.
