Hmm...What a coincidence, this same question was just asked on the
    USENET postings I got today.

The answer is Yes. For the keyboard, get a keyboard extender for
the IBM pc. For the monitor and mouse, try a joystick extension
    cable.

A keyboard extender for WHAT !

1609.3Mouse support on Term Emul'sHPSTEK::SENNAFri Aug 19 1988 19:288
This may not belong here but...since its title is "strange ones"
    I felt at home!

Anyway, is it possible to make use of my mouse on any of the terminal
emulators? There are a few applications I would like to be able
    to use while at home.

    re: WHAT!

the A2000 keyboard cable has a 5pin DIN plug, just like on the ibm
pc. Lots of keyboard extender cables available for that.

    re: A500 keyboard cable

I believe on usenet it was revealed that the A500 has the same wires
running to the keyboard (no shortcuts just because the keyboard
was built into the system unit). So you could detach the keyboard
with a little cable hacking. Or buy an A2000 keyboard, and attach
    it to those wires.

It's not so strange. I've been using a terminal with a mouse since
1983 (the V2 BBN BitGraph). Just because DEC can't get it's act
together with the VT330's useless mouse...

"Wheat" does not, at this time, have any mouse support. Now, if you had
an Atari...

    re .1

I have an amiga 2000 and have recently bought both keyboard extension
and joystick extesion cables. The joystick are best bought at Radio
Shack (I have one for both the mouse and the joystick ports to save
on the trouble of installing into the ports and because I wish to
put my machine under my desk soon. I also have purchased and tested
two extensions cords ( to give me enough length to have the machine
under the desk) , they were standard 5 pin IBM keyboard extenders
bought at my local computer store. By the way I finally found a
good computer store for amiga's in Conneticut, it is in Vernon and
is called Computer Outlet. Anyone interested can mail me and I
will post directions. The even stock 2000's.
