| Do you think he actually would know how to use it?
I had the impression that most PC Co.s these days are run by Pepsi salesman.
Oh, well I guess if Jack Trivial can make an Atari look OK, Chester
could rig a Demo that would make the A2000 look like a Cray (though
I suspect that it will come across as an I*M-AT).
Anyway, what's this advertising nonsense?
I thought this Amiga-thingy was a secret.

I'll correct myself quickly
1. It should have been Sam Trivial, not Jack-the-wrecker right?
2. No real ST criticism intended here, some wudnerful stuff coming
real-soon-now 8^)
3. Thanks DAVE for the info. I really do have doubts about the ability
of any Co. head to show off a machine
BUT obviously they have the real low-down on future directions ect.

another note also mentions .0, so maybe this note could be used
to dump on Jack T. But why start another computer war here? Try
the ST notesfile for that :=)
Max Toy is an interesting character, I saw at the BCS meeting shortly
after he became prez of CBM. He appears to a good knowledge of
what is needed to compete in the Business market against ibmpc clones.
And he has the ability to avoid answering questions with suitable
marketing phrases. I was impressed by the job he did pitching the
C64 on Computer Chronicles, although that was just an interview,
not a demo. Maybe he'll delegate the demoing to some third party
folks, since the A2000 has already been demoed on the show a few
times already.
I saw the Sam T. on the Computer Show, pity they no longer have
the phone segment of the show, I'd love to see Max Toy get some
pro-ST and pro-ibmpc calls.
