    Yes, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or whatever your particlular
    tribe may celebrate!
                                 
    It's been a pretty good year; some truly amazing things have quietly
    happened.
    
    Truly Amazing Thing #1:
    
    Commodore has sold more Amigas than they can build.  Long waiting
    lists for A2000s were the rule for most of the past few months.
    
    Truly Amazing Thing #2:
    
    The Guru has virtually disappeared.  Yup.  Up until the last 9 months
    or so, Amiga software was sufficiently buggy that critics could
    rightfully claim that the beast was very unstable.  Now, I can
    fearlessly launch any background task I damn please while doing
    a $10.00 download.  I go for days and weeks without a system crash.
    
    Truly Amazing Thing #3:
    
    I haven't been fired for spending eleventy-seven hours per day on
    this here Notes file.
