815.0. "Escape sequences" by DCC::JAERVINEN (Woody Allen for President) Thu Oct 15 1987 16:26

Are the escape sequences that a CON: window recognizes (on output)
    described somewhere?

Sure there are. Check for the documentation for the escape sequences
for printers. CON: seems to recognize most of them (except the
ones that don't apply to it, I would imagine)

The sequences are ANSI. Most ANSI sequences will work in a console
window. There are some Amiga sequences too. They are listed in
the small book that came with the V1.2 Enhancer software. They
are also listed in the Libraries and Devices book.

If you want, I could post a summary of them here...

Look in the RKM under the console device for a complete list. I
actually went through the effort to make an include file of them
    all once.
