707.0. "Looking for a 68000 disassembler" by MAY20::MINOW (Je suis Marxist, tendance Groucho) Wed Sep 16 1987 00:13

Would anyone happen to have source to a 68000 disassembler that I
might be able to convert for my Atari ST? Nothing fancy, just
a tool that could turn an integer vector into a line of text.

Apologies if this has already been asked/answered, but there wasn't
any note with "disassembler" in its title.

Thanks for your help.

    There are several in PD Fred Fish disks on the Amiga (some in c,
    some in 68k) I wrote one with a friend in 68k. It is machine
    independent. Send me mail if you're interested.

    There is now a 68k disassembler in the following location:

    16bits""::disk$user3:[kruger.amiga]dis.asm

    It is written for a bare 68000 machine and has one peculiar hack,
    but is well commented and fairly straightforward. When I get a
    directory of fish disks (hopefully this weekend?) I will upload
    another that is in C.

    Note: this program was written by myself and a friend. It may be
    freely distributed and used, as long as such hacks are non-profit.

    Good luck!
