408.0. "CAN U RECOMMEND A GOOD AMIGA-DOS BOOK?" by AMULET::HALVERSON (GARFIELD) Thu Mar 26 1987 16:38

    Can anyone recommend a good Amiga-Dos manual to buy thats easy to
    use and understand. Also list where to buy it and what it cost.
    There seem to be several available and I thought I would get peoples
    thougts on which one is better than others.

    Bantam reprints the Commodore-Amiga Dos Manual. As far as easy to
    understand?? I leave that to you, but I have yet to find a tech
    manual that manges to do that. I have found it to be a valuable
    reference.

    The AmigaDOS manual by COMPUTE! magazine is very informative. It
    is very understandable and is also a good reference book. I purchased
    it last year at the Bit Bucket on route 16 (Waltham?). I also
    have the manual listed in reply -.1, but never use it.
