Boston Computer Society General Meeting

March 25: Commodore presents the Amiga 500 and Amiga 2000
Get your first look at Commodore's next generation of personal computers
at the BCS's March 25 General Meeting.  Commodore president Tom Rattigan
and the company's chief designers demonstrate two exciting new products:
the Amiga 500 and the Amiga 2000.  Intended for home users, the Amiga 500
includes all the features of the current Amiga, plus expanded memory and
more, and will sell for under $650.  The Amiga 2000 is a major new business
computer featuring optional full IBM compatibility, expansion slots, optional
hard disks, dazzling graphics, and up to 9 megabytes of memory.  It will
sell for under $1500.  The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March
25, at New England Life Hall, 225 Clarendon Street, Boston.

Although they will be displaying the new machines tonight
(or maybe just the 2000... I forget) the official introduction
with all of the hoopla will be on the 25th at the BCS general
meeting.

    Was the A500 demoed at the Amiga BCS meeting?  Any
    news/impressions/comments about the A2000?  
    
    missed the meeting, very curious to know what happened.
