| The Turbo-Amiga consists of a stock Amiga with an expansion chassis
connected to the Amiga buss. The chassis contains it's own power
supply, fan, slots, etc. From pictures I have seen, it has about
the footprint of a Sidecar, but twice the height.
For $5475.00, (Suggested price, not discount) you get an entire
512K Amiga with monitor and two floppys, and the expansion chassis
with a 14 MHz 68020/68881, 32-bit memory (either 512K or 1 meg, expandable),
and a 20 meg hard drive with SCSI host adaptor. The manufacturer
claims compatibility with all Amiga software, 'tho I'd take that
with a grain of salt. They do guarantee that all compilers,
assemblers, etc work.

I forgot to add that CSA will sell the chassis alone, you provide
the Amiga. DOn't know what the price is. They also make a Turbo
board that fits inside the Amiga and adds a 68020/68881, but alas,
you are stuck with the measly 7.12 Mhz clock and 16 bit RAM. I don't
know what kind of performance boost this configuration gives.
