209.0. "XYZZY for my Software" by CYGNUS::DEBRUYN (Tony - my AMIGA DOS it all for me) Tue Dec 09 1986 12:59

    I found a copy of a program call JET! on one of the miscellaneous
    disks that came with my (previously excercised) system. I can get
    it to do a few things but can't figure out the right combination
    of keys to really make it 'fly right'. Does anyone out there have
    this program or know how to use it? It also has some files that
    look from the name like they configure it to simulate different
    F series jets. How so I use these? Any ideas, help, hints or (???)
    documentation would be appreciated.

    I also found a couple of programs called "Sound" and "JukeBox" that
    seem to playback digitized sound. I only have a couple of .SND
    and .SS files drive these programs. I know that JukeBox is a PD
    demo from FutureSound. What else does anyone know about these
    programs, and are there anymore 'sound' files available.

209.1Maybe a demo?FRSBEE::MICKOLVideographerTue Dec 09 1986 15:227
Hi Tony. I have the JET program, too, and have the same problems. I have a
feeling it was an early version (DEMO maybe) of the recently announced Flight
Simulator program that everyone is raving about. I plan to buy it as soon as
I can get my hands on one....

209.2Radar Raiders DemoJAKE::ACCIARDITue Dec 09 1986 17:0610
	What you guys have is a demo of a program by Sublogic that was
    originally going to be called 'Radar Raiders'. It was done for
    the Amiga launch in September '85. The program really doesn't have
    any more functionality than what you have experienced; none of the
    controls or icons on the screen do anything.

    The real JET! is going to be released real soon now for the Amiga
    and ST.
