I am on the next waiting list for 1.2 Wb at Mem Loc. They just
told me that commodore won't be shipping these until the 14th either.
Kind of a funny time of year to put a hold on shipments.

I was in computermart 1-2-86 an they said they had five update kits
come in and sold all in a morning .I have put my name on a list
for notification when there next shipment arrives.

1.2 is available today from Diversified Computers in Keene, N.H. You
don't have to drive all the way to Keene -- they'll ship. (I've never
been there, but it didn't sound like they have much software for the
Amiga; on the other hand, they seem to give an automatic 15% discount
on what they do have.)

I've been there. I wasn't thrilled. They had an Apple IIGS right
up front. Back in a dark corner was the Amiga, switched off. I
asked them why and they said "Well, we just had a big open house
for the GS and the Amiga hasn't been really popular..."
I said "How do you expect it to get popular if you keep hiding it?"
They just shrugged their shoulders.
So what else is new...
