It seems like Arizona gets one West site every year, and either Salt
Lake or Boise gets the other. Geez, it wouldn't kill the committee to
put a 1st-2nd round site in Colorado. Personally, I think those would
be more fun. More games and more teams than a regional.

    Thanks for the info, Richard.

Unfortunately the applications (exact ones sent by the NCAA or exact
copies of those) must be received by April 30th. After requesting one
for myself it took me 2 weeks to receive an application form.

(1st)If you want the good seats it will cost you $121 for 2 tickets and
you can only receive 2 tickets per household.(The next best seats
         I think were $81).

(2nd)If your money,(ex. $120 of $121) does not come back to you, then
your application has been accepted to go into a computer for a
         random drawing.

(3rd)Sometime in the middle of May names will be randomly drawn by the
computer as to who will get tickets to the 1992 Final 4 games.

(4th)If your name was drawn your money will be kept and you will receive
         tickets to the games.

If your ticket was drawn, and the seats you had chosen were all
filled, and you had requested lower price seats if your first
choice was not available, then you will receive the lower price
tickets and the difference between the price you paid and the
         tickets you received -$1. ex. $121 - $81 - $1 ($40 back to you
         + the lower price tickets).

If you were chosen for lower price tickets but did not request
the lower price tickets in place of your original choice (or)
you were not chosen for tickets at all then you will receive the
amount you sent in less $1.

Right now I do not have the address for the request for applications. I
will try to post it as soon as possible.

5 years in a row I sent in my money, 5 years in a row they sent it back..

almost as bad as my megabucks' luck....

anyways if you know alumni, are an alumni at a college with a major program
check them out. The majority of tickets are allocated to the schools for
 distribution...

I couldn't even get tickets at the Seattle Kingdome and they can seat 50K+
for basketball I beleive, yet last year my aunt who's a booster at UConn
could have gotten me tickets through the school. Unfortunately she told
 me too late......

How do you get tickets for the first and second round games (At Worcester)?
Should I call the hosting team, the facility, or the NCAA?

played the 1st and 2nd rounds at Hartford I got my tickets through UCONN.
The year befor ethat when they were at the Providence Civic Center we

138.121992 Final Four application address + informationWLDWST::RCARRUTHERSFri Apr 19 1991 23:3932
This is where to send for 1992 NCAA Final Four applications:

                      1992 NCAA Final Four tickets
                      6201 College Boulevard
                      Overland Park, Kansas 66211-2422

Just a little bit more information incase anyone is interested:

Future Final Four ticket information will be available March 1st of
    each year.
(They always seem to announce where to send for the ticket
applications during the halftime of the 1st or 2nd Final
Four games. I had my VCR on this year and it came up
during the halftime of the UNLV / Duke game.)

Also noted on the application is that "the interest income generated
by ticket application moneys will be used to support one or more of the
NCAA youth programs (Youth Education through Sports Clinics and National
Youth Sports Program) and drug education efforts."

The dollar that you loose if your money is returned to you is for a
    "$1.00 nonrefundable handling fee."

Even if I do not get tickets, a loss of $1.00 doesn't seem all that
much to have taken a shot. At least the interest off of my money will be
    going to something worthwhile.

                                                          Richard
