would fit in nicely in this topic.

Doc, have you ever faced the iceMAN in one-on-one hoop

Walt, you have a heck of a team... and you're right... if we started
the playoffs a week earlier, the Wackos would be in the Super Bowl.
We were both hurt at the beginning of the season when Cunningham got
injured (I had Cunningham and Keith Jackson who's scoring vanished
without Cunningham) and I'm surprised that my team made it this far.
Hoard was a great pickup for me out of the waiver wire... just like

Congratulations on your win yesterday. It was great to see a team play
as well as you did this week. Good luck against Washington.

I regret to inform you however, that someone thinks your effort in week
15 was weak. I have a fantasy rotisserie team and my team lost to his
in part because you and Emmitt Smith failed to score. I'll send him a
letter after he gets over losing yesterday. Please concentrate on
Washington, but please note that scoring touchdowns in key weeks must be
more important than winning ball games. This is why Leroy Hoard is seen
as a quality ball player to some, where as you have a chance to get to

It's different from the Donks-Steelers-Browns stuff because
it's two people ripping chunks out of each other, and it
gets pretty tiresome.

And besides, once football season is over that stuff ends. This goes on
and on and on like a bad dream you can't wake up from.

And whenver I or Mac says something about it, each one perceives that
we're picking on them individually.

Fine, you guys wanna go at it toe to toe, go right ahead. Knock yourselves
out. Everything is fair game.

Go for it. You won't hear a word out of me, and while I can't speak
for Mac, I know he's fed up with it too, you probably won't hear a word
out of him.

Rip yourselves to shreds.....

    Paul and Doc,

Most of the sports discussions have some value to them - even the ACC
rathole. Most of the non-sports discussions are still interesting.
Mac and Frank do a good job bagging the jokes that are going to get us
in trouble. In short, 99% of this conference, whether sports related
or not, is still worthwhile. I can either enjoy it or learn something
    from it or both.

In your case, however, it's no value. It seems to be a personal vendetta
carried into this conference that the rest of us neither know about
nor care about. I don't know what caused it but it reads like two
little kids fighting in a sand box. (I really think it will be funny if
the Browns draft David Klingler - it will mean a Houston hero in
Cleveland). I don't know you, Paul. I know you Doc and I'm
surprised you carry it on - you seem mature enough to know better. If
either of you could read it as if you didn't write it I think you'd be
ashamed of yourselves for acting that way.

That's why the moderators get annoyed with you two when you start this
crap. That's why the rest of us get annoyed too. It has no place in
this conference and speaking for the rest of us, we'd all appreciate it
if you'd take it off line.

Have I just replaced A&W as Mom?

John, wouldn't it be funny if a local hero like Desmond Howard (from
Cleveland, OH) ended up on one of Doc's many "favorite" teams...

Actually, Desmond went to Washington.

Now we'll have to hear Dickstah's wife Casey yak on endlessly about how
the Skins have this great new find.....8^)

    re John,

I'm sorry that things have gotten to the point it has. Frankly I'm sick
of it all. And I've been tired of it for a long time.

The harrassment in notes and VAX mail, (99% which I ignore - until
things go too far) - yes, VAX mail too, it's pathetic and childish. I
hate bringing it into a public platform, but I don't need this crap.
And I should have a right not to put up with it ... sigh.

You do make sense "Moms" Hendry ....

BTW, if Klinger had gone to Cleveland (going to the Bengals isn't much
better, but at least Wyche isn't there) - I was going to campaign for
Doug Flutie to coach UMass football .... haa. :-)

    Doc

p.s. Denny, it's funny you never mentioned my support of Washington (I
try not to use 'Redskins') for the 1989-90 seasons. They win a SB, and
you try to imply I jumped on the wagon ? What does that make you ?

Besides a tool of Ole Red ? heh heh heh (hhh) ...
