| AutoDoubler question...
At our school, we used AutoDoubler to store software on the HD.
Is there any way to automatically 'undouble' the contents of the
disk? It seems like you can set a disk to be compressed, and it
will then scan the disk and automatically compress whatever it can.
but I cant figure out any way to do the opposite.
The 'decompress' utility is installed, and I can individually
double click on each 'doubled' file...that that REALLY can take
a while. Although it will automatically decompress applications
when they are executed, the applications dont seem to automatically
recognize the compressed files that they access (picture files, other
other data/sound files). So they need to be fully decompressed
up front.
I figure I must be missing something...

| Can you select an entire disk (via its desktop icon) and run the decompress
utility against that?

If so, I could not figure how to do it...but that's what I wanted to do!

Click once to select the item (whether it's the disk or folder),
pull down the DD menu and select EXPAND. It will expand any item
that has been compressed. It will leave any uncompressed files
alone.
