Hi,
the previous reply is correct in that we will be shipping on th CDs available
in Q4. It's always difficult to remember which platform ships when.

Cheers SImon....

I found out today that CM V1.1 (or any other version of CM) is not
on the upcoming OpenVMS/VAX CD. Is that correct? When/where will the
	kit be available?

Pirjo,

This is correct, due to problems with "the system" not being able to cope
with VCS 1.4 users upgrading to PCM V1.1 (the system will not allow us to
go backwards in version numbers!!) we were asked to pull the kits and
  change the version to V1.5.

We were unable to pull the kits in time for all the platforms except
OpenVMS VAX which is why its not going on the upcoming CD.

The good news out of all this is that we are resubmitting the new kits
tomorrow, the new version will be V1.5. The good news doesnt stop there
though, as we took the opportunity to include quite a few bug fixes, so,
although your customers will have to wait a little longer, they will get a
  more stable kit.

Finally, before anybody asks about those bugfixes for the other platforms,
we are resubmitting on all 4 platforms (OpenVMS VAX, OpenVMS AXP, ULTRIX
and OSF/1) so the next round of CD submissions should have V1.5 on them.

Cheers,
Phil
193.5Do I have to wait until the next OpenVMS-CD?EEMELI::ELOYou can't change the winds, but you can adjust the sailsTue May 31 1994 11:179

	Phil,

I hope there is some way to get the kit to the customer before the
next CD comes out! Is there?

Pirjo,

I dont know what the release times are, but I would think that if
you want the OpenVMS VAX version then the TK50's will ship before
  the CD's.

Cheers,
Phil

And where could I find the release date for Console Manager for
	OpenVMS VAX?

Sorry to generate all these questions, but I have a real customer
case that is waiting for the OpenVMS-version of CM. They are using
VCS now, but would like to get their environment up to date. We, on
the other hand, can't sell consultancy to them before we have the
	CM-kit....
