Hi

I'm doing a bsubmit to 4.0 of 6 files. 2 of them are expected to
flow into 4.0a. The bsubmit to 4.0 went fine. Then I tried
a bsubmit to 4.0a of the 4 that will not flow. I got the following
results.

Outdate files if successful submission? [Y]es, [N]o, [Q]uery later]: [Yes]

*** No user interaction will be required during the merge step. ***

[ ./kernel/bsd/kern_sig.c checked in onto branch 4.5.169 ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs.h checked in onto branch 1.1.41 ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_ioctl.c checked in onto branch 1.1.28 ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_subrs.c checked in onto branch 1.1.37 ]
ODE CLIENT ERROR: Failed call to: read() while reading server status. No such file or directory
.
[ ./kernel/bsd/kern_sig.c Rev 4.5.169.2 checked out ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs.h Rev 1.1.41.2 checked out ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_ioctl.c Rev 1.1.28.2 checked out ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_subrs.c Rev 1.1.37.2 checked out ]
[ ./kernel/bsd/kern_sig.c outdated revisions in set Stephanie_Adams_procfs40a ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs.h outdated revisions in set Stephanie_Adams_procfs40a ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_ioctl.c outdated revisions in set Stephanie_Adams_procfs40a ]
[ ./kernel/procfs/procfs_subrs.c outdated revisions in set Stephanie_Adams_procfs40a ]

Submission completed successfully.

after the bsubmit, I checked the files that are out on v40asupportos and
they are as they should be. In other words, the bsubmit seems to have worked.
Can you explain this rather frightenning error message?

Thanks for your help
Stephanie Adams

Hi Stephanie,
This looks like a network hiccup, or something similar. Please check
the bsubmit log to see if your submit went through OK with each file.

Let me know how it looks.
