2670.0. "steel authorization request" by AOSG::FILTER (Automatic Posting Software - mail to flume::puck) Thu Nov 14 1996 14:51

Matthew, please have your supervisor send mail to the steel project team,
spt@zk3.dec.com, requesting that you be added to the rcs/os project access
list. Have her/him include your principal (kerberos) name, Matthew_Hanselman.

Also, fyi, when you use bcreate, if you are in the directory you want
the file in, you do not need the path to the file. So in this case:

> quarry:~/steel/src/usr/ccs/lib/libc% bcreate /usr/ccs/lib/libc/cf_doprnt.c

You could also do:
> quarry:~/steel/src/usr/ccs/lib/libc% bcreate cf_doprnt.c

Note that what you did would work from ANY directory under src. Also note
that if you use a dot-relative path it will be interpreted relative to where
you currently are, not relative to src, as is the case with a full path.

I'm getting this error -- do you know the remedy?
