Hi,

Feel free to point me at an appropriate document describing the following
procedure...

I have a sandbox backed to STEELOS.BL3. I have a dozen or so files that
I've modified for my project in the source directories, including some
widely used header files.

I now want to build against STEELOS.BL5. Besides the merging of the files
which I have changed, what is the proper procedure to get a new build to
work against the backing tree STEELOS.BL5?

	Thanks,

		Steve.

First, you can retarget your sandbox to BL5. In a workon to the sandbox,
do "resb steelos.bl5". Make sure you have the new backingtree mounted.
Exit and re-enter the sandbox.

For each file you have checked out, you can check for any differences.

I believe a "bdiff -all" will diff all files in your set against the
BL5 versions. Any that come up with differences will need to be synced
up. bmerge -rSTEELOS_BL5 file will merge in the changes.

Josh, is this the best way to proceed?
