2334.0. "steel.nightly change request." by AOSG::FILTER (Automatic Posting Software - mail to flume::puck) Tue Jun 11 1996 19:23

Subj: steel.nightly change request.

Hi,

I created (bcreated) three new files in the steel.nightly pool in the wrong
directory. Can someone move the ,v files into the correct directory for me or
let me know what else I should do.

Source files:
 steelos.nightly/src/sbin/backup/vdump/vdumpoptr.c
 steelos.nightly/src/sbin/backup/vdump/vdumprmt.c
 steelos.nightly/src/sbin/backup/vdump/tapeops.c

Correct Destination directory for all three:
 steelos.nightly/src/sbin/backup/shared

If this cannot be done and I need to have them deleted and then I will recreate
them then let me know, ok?

Thanks very much,
barry

Ok, all set. Now in your sandbox/src dir search your .BCS* files for
references to these files and fix the path to match the new location.

Since there wasn't any record of these files in steelos, I'm assuming
that Barry was incorrect in stating that the files were in nightly:
| Source files:
| steelos.nightly/src/sbin/backup/vdump/vdumpoptr.c

but that they were really only ever in his private sandbox, ie:
| private_sandbox/src/sbin/backup/vdump/vdumpoptr.c

??? thanks...... -josh

No steel has nothing to do with it really, except it was the tree he was
working against. They were RCS files he'd checked it. I could have had him
outdate and then bcreate, but I figured I'd just move 'em for him.
