Greg, the "Waiting for sandbox lock (with lockf())" message refers to a
lock taken out on <sandbox>/src/.BCSlock -- this file is used to
coordinate multiple bco/bci etc operations that could be going on in
parallel within the same sandbox in different workon sessions - either
in different windows/shells or different client systems (with the
sandbox mounted over NFS).  It's for the last case the NFS locking
needs to be functioning, which it was not on guru last week (I don't
know about this week).

If you ^C out of an operation like bco, or it's hung due to an nfs
locking problem, all you need to do is rm the .BCSlock file.  The next
b* operation will create a new .BCSlock file and you'll be all set.

Thanks!

I no longer seem to be having an ACL problem, but I am
having a problem that may be a result of something that didn't get
cleaned up when the `bco' failed with the ACL problem.

Now when I do `bco smail.c' I get the response:

	Waiting for sandbox lock (with lockf())

and the `bco' then seems to hang.

Do you have any advice on how to recover?
