These two statements are mutually incompatible, as far as I know: 	

    I am using automount.
    I did an odemount ptos.nightly

If you are using automount (for the auto.build map), you should NOT use
odemount for anything; there may be some NFS problem that this causes,
since odemount requires a directory where automount requires a link.

With automount you should have this mounted:

    /tmp_mnt/cia/share/cia/build/ptos.dsk6

And with odemount (which is a regular mount) you should have this mounted:

    /share/cia/build/ptos.dsk6

See if either of these is mounted; if indeed you're using automount for
the build trees, then
	odemount -u ptos.nightly

and then you may need to kill & restart automount.

I am running platinum BL10 pass1 with Enhansed security and NIS.
I am using automount.
I did an odemount ptos.nightly
