1813.0. "bstat problem" by AOSG::FILTER (Automatic Posting Software - mail to flume::puck) Thu Sep 14 1995 12:34

I'm trying to clean up a sandbox that I haven't
touched for a couple of weeks. I can't do a bstat
and I don't understand why.

kcs@letterman> bstat -all
bstat: The setting of BCSHEADERS (/usr/sde/alpha/headers) is invalid: No such file or directory
kcs@letterman> echo $BCSHEADERS
/usr/sde/alpha/headers
kcs@letterman> BCSHEADERS=/usr/sde/osf1/headers
kcs@letterman> export BCSHEADERS
kcs@letterman> bstat
bstat: The setting of BCSHEADERS (/usr/sde/alpha/headers) is invalid: No such file or directory
kcs@letterman> which bstat
/usr/sde/ode3.0/tools/alpha_ace/bin/bstat

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks,
Ken

Check that there is a symbolic link in your /usr/sde area that has alpha
pointing to osf1.

lrwxr-xr-x   1 root     system         4 Apr 14 10:13 /usr/sde/alpha -> osf1

and then make sure your /usr/sde/osf1/headers directory exists.
