Hi,
well, I just got similar results in the v3.0b supportos pool. This
time it had a *bunch* of previous submits included. (about 5) We noticed
yesterday that the file in the (um) supportos (not nightly) pool was
a *real* (not linked) file. Could this be the problem, or doesit just
indicate that the file was modified?

I believe that bdiff is going to pull out the lastest version of the file
from the SUBMIT tree [even if you are backed by nightly] for the diffs against
the file you are submitting. If you were to manually diff the file in
v30bsupportos with the file you are submitting, I would expect to see the
same diffs.

John

Sorry, nope. When I do a "regular" bdiff, it does *not* report the same
diffs. Only those *I* made, and would expect to be reported. It's only
within the srequest program that it seems to pick up the wrong diffs.

Ben

Please feel free to stop down for a demo! :^)

Is this still an issue?

bdiff with no args diffs your current work with what you started with.

bdiff -r$NEW which is what srequest uses diffs your work with what's in
the submit tree.
