ODE RCS Server - Buffer - To Be Taken Down Thursday (4/6) from 11: 	30-1

Buffer has been reporting some serious ADVFS errors on the system disk
over the last few days causing the system to panic.  As a result we
are planning to replace the disk as well as upgrade Buffer's O/S to V3.2, 
incorporating the latest ADVFS technology.   

In order to expedite the upgrade (and minimize the risk of future panics)
we will be taking the system down from 11:30-1 on Thursday, 4/6.  

During the downtime, the RCS pool will be locked for all activity
including read-only activity.  Affected commands include:
        - ODE "b" commands (bco, bci, bcs, blog, bdiff, bstat, bsubmit)
        - srequest
	- /usr/sde mounted from Buffer (ZK only)
	    (recommended /usr/sde servers are listed in 
	     /usr/sde/disks/ode.servers)

Note that this only affects the DEC OSF/1 engineering pools.
QA/QC and Documentation pools will remain unaffected.
Backing trees will still be available for read only activities,
including sandbox builds.
