1197.0. "Can t bsubmit - may be in wrong tree." by AOSG::FILTER (Automatic Posting Software - mail to flume::puck) Tue Jan 10 1995 12:43

Hi Platinum Team,

I can not do a "bsubmit". I get the following error while
"supposably" backed to BL 4 (ptos.nightly):
$ bsubmit id.c
Enter the defect number this submission applies to: ptos_371_fys

Error: You are trying to submit to project 'ptos'.
        Your defect number is incorrect for this project.

        Please check your defect number and make sure your
        sandbox is backed by the correct project.

I notice that the link/Logs/Version.log file has:
$ cat Version.log
Start build: Sun Jan 8 20:00:07 EST 1995
automatic nightly build
project-baselevel: PTOS-BL3
version.build: 61
version.type: X
version.variant: -3
Done build: Mon Jan 9 01:20:32 EST 1995
Start install: Mon Jan 9 01:20:48 EST 1995
$

Which does NOT say BL 4.

Is my problem due to the fact that the pool is not open, or is
it do the fact that my two "srequests" (ptos_371_fys and ptos_373_fys)
were put in the wrong "tree level" (BL 3 instead of 4)?

Please "move" these two, if that is the case (and try to find out why
out [UNX] backing tree won't go to BL 4).

I believe that ptos is still locked at BL3 until there is a good kit. I did
not see mail about bl4 being open yet. As for your srequest number, you've
transposed the -'s to _'s.
