Peter, your exact principal name (Peter_Portante ?) will need to be
added to the rcs/os pool's 'access control list' by the project manager
for the support pools (Jim Metsch, cc'd, or Charlie Sestokas, cc'd).

After that, and with a valid "ticket" from "kinit" you can bco.

This is tricky; you can mean different things by this.

1) if you've done a bco and have not done a bci, and want to to make it so
that it's as if you never did the bco:
	% bcs -u -o filename (-u is unlock, -o is outdate)

2) same but the file's been bci'd, just outdate (no -u switch)
	% bcs -o filename

3) you did a bco, bci (perhaps multiple bco/bci) and finally a bco,
and you want to undo just the last check-out and revert to what you
last checked in, then you want to unlock but not outdate:
	% bcs -u filename

Subject: Can't seem to bco a file:

Hello,

I am trying to check out a file in the v30supportos backing tree. It is
./usr/ccs/lib/DECthreads/COMMON/cma_ux.c. I have a kerberos authorization
key, but the command returns to me with:

% bco -u cma_ux.c

[ ./usr/ccs/lib/DECthreads/COMMON/cma_ux.c ]
co: access denied by ACL

This is my first time trying to check out a file.

Also, how do I un-checkout a file?

- -Peter
