Hi Iain, I'm afraid I haven't got around to auditioning the 0.5's yet. When I do I'll post my findings. The dealer I was speaking to said he thought the Kelvin amp would suit the 0.5's well. This amp is class a/b only 20W per channel. The review of the 0.5's said that it could sound bright with the wrong amp. So careful matching required. I'd be interested in hearing about thenm if you try them before I do. Simon | |||||

Thought the TDL note needed updating -
A mate of mine bought some TDL Near Field Monitor II bookshelf-type
speakers the other day - excellent buy for under 200 quid (Richer
Sounds). They made his Akai amp sound amazing, the clarity was
stunning, and the sound was huge for such a small box - I suppose this
is a feature of most of TDL's range. I bought some RTL 2's at
Christmas and am still well impressed with them in conjunction with the
Audio Innovations Alto I have.
