35.0. "Visit in Basingstoke" by TKOV58::MATSUMOTO (Hisako Matsumoto AITC/SWS/DEC-Japan) Mon Sep 26 1988 13:42

	Hellow !!

I have a plan to visit LONDON from DEC 24 to JAN 7 in private. I would
like to visit some offices in Basingstoke. If I can, I want to watch
	some AI application programs.

I have one friend who lives in Winchmore Hill in LONDON. So I'll stay
there. How can I go from Winchmore Hill to Basingstoke? Shuld I ride
on the British Railway? How much does it cost a return? How long does
it take? I don't know when to visit.

I want to stay one night in Reading or Basingstoke. Are there any good
B&B or Guest house? The cheaper, the better and there is near by
	office.

If anyone knows good ideas, please recommend me.

	Thanks a lot.

I'd go by train, but I don't know the price. Remember that the DEC
offices will be closed until the 3rd of January for Christmas and
    the New Year holidays.

    Thank you Jc.

    I'll be carefull for it.
Well, I don't know where should I visit. If I can, I would like to visit a
show room. Should I go through any formalities ?
If you know, please tell me.

    Hisako,

If you are a Kendoka, I am sure any members of the British Kendo
Association would be pleased to hear from you, perhaps you could
bring your armour over and practice :-)

If you are interested, let me know and I can tell you about dojos
    in London, Reading or Basingstoke.

    Regards,

    Steve.

    Hisako,

I thought it might be worth asking anyway. I hope you have a very
good journey and overall visit just the same.
