I've created this note for any comments, suggestions and questions about
the IINET (Insurance Investment Net) Campaign, being held in Connecticut
at the Farmington ACT in February.
There is an Account Planning Workshop scheduled for Thursday, January 3
at the ACT in Farmington CT. Below is a copy of the memo sent out by
Don Bracken informing the Insurance Industry of this event.

INSURANCE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
ACCOUNT PLANNING WORKSHOP
January 3, 1990
9 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m.
Farmington, Connecticut (@FMT)
A by-invitation-only account planning workshop is scheduled for
Thursday, January 3 at the Digital facility in Farmington, Connecticut.
Invitations are issued to select individuals based on account
potential. You are being invited because your accounts represent prime
near-term candidates for Digital's solutions in the insurance
investment management arena.
The workshop will cover sales strategies and tactics designed to
help you close high-ticket business THIS FISCAL YEAR. It launches our
FY91 Insurance Investment campaign (to be called II-NET, for Insurance
Investment Net), which will be capped in February and March when we
demonstrate Digital solutions to customers at our II-NET sales event,
similar to the highly successful SERVE-NET Event.
At the January 3 planning workshop, you'll:
o RECEIVE VITAL MARKET INTELLIGENCE ON YOUR ACCOUNTS FROM RESPECTED
INDUSTRY CONSULTANTS -- practical, "inside" information on each
targetted account, to help you sell into insurance investment
management operations
o Get all the details on the II-NET campaign and event
o Find out about Digital's strategy and solutions for this market
o Discuss your specific problems and get answers to your specific
questions -- small, informal "breakout" sessions will focus on
individual accounts
o Meet the "tracking" person who will help you put together your
individual account strategy, go with you to meet with your
customers and help you get the right people to come to the
II-NET event.
This workshop can maximize your sales efforts and give you the
impetus to end FY91 on a winning note. So mark January 3 on your
calendar. We look forward to seeing you there.
RSVP by December 7 to Tracy Elkins @MK0, DTN 264-5110.
