For all future noters, the following answer, extracted
from HUMANE::SYS$PUBLIC:EASYNOTES.LIS.
New VAX Notes conferences (for use with VAX Notes) are announced in
the conference at TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES. Note: This is a VAX
Note conference and may only be read using the VAX Notes utility.
EASYNOTES.LIS is updated weekly from conference announcements made in
the VAX Notes conference TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES. The master
copy is kept at HUMANE::SYS$PUBLIC:EASYNOTES.LIS. Regional copies
are available at other locations on the network. See the section
'Pointers to Conference Lists' for the locations of these copies.
The list can also be accessed via VTX using the keyword 'EASYNOTES'.
If you have problems accessing a particular conference, try using the
methods suggested in notes 1.* in TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES before
writing a note in that conference. A summary of these suggestions is
available at CAFEIN::NOTES$LIBRARY:NOTES_PROBLEMS.HINTS which is a
file you can copy to your own account.
Also, if you don't see a particular topic listed in the EASYNOTES
list, you can make inquiries in TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES.
