    Once you've done the hard bit (getting the DEK location code), the
    rest is easy ;
    
    The general form is ;
    
    	firstname.lastname@dek.mts.dec.com
    
    Assuming no confusion between first and last names and normal Message
    Transport System magic is in place.  If potential confusion exists, try
    with just the known lastname (familyname).

    This should work.
    In Asia (including Korea) their VAXmail username is their first
    and last name strung together without any space or _ so....

    Have you tried this. Internet access in Asia is dicey. I just came back
    from Korea and people can send Internet mail but apparently can't
    recieve it. I believe the DEK domain is not registered in the corporate
    DNS. I discussed this issue with the local Network services group, but
    I don't know if it has been elevated to the appropriate telecom people
